Boxgrove Priory

  • Church of St Mary and St Blaise has a beautiful painted medieval ceiling
  • Ruins of the dorter and the chapel from the original priory
  • Boxgrove Priory is open to visitors daily, apart from when services are in progress
  • Parking - there is free parking a available for a limited number of cars
  • Refreshments - cream teas sometimes available in August at the St Blaise center, otherwise available in nearby Chichester
  • Bathrooms - no public bathrooms available
  • There is no entry charge, but a donation towards the upkeep is welcome
  • Boxgrove Priory is accessible from the A27, just east of Chichester
  • Fishbourne Roman Palace is nearby (a 5 minute drive.)
